The housing of the servants takes place in centers of European information that relies on certification ISO27001:2005 in safety and management of the information.

 

 

 

 The Network Operations Center Occentus Network's (NOC) is active during 12 p.m., every day of the year.

Nagios All the servants, elements of net, or parameters of connection are monitored by means of Nagios ™ from the Network Operations Center (NOC) Nagios de Occentus Network, assets during 12 p.m., every day of the year, entrusted of supervising and acting proactivamente on our net and the set of servants who compose it.

 

Servants and Architecture of net

Though the servants or hardware that we use for our servants are not specially different from those of other suppliers, which makes Occentus Network unique is our bet without determining for the High availability and continuity of the service, diversifying and branching out the services up to making them tolerant to failures and in case of major incidents, being able to rely on at all time supports of different sources.

In order to guarantee the availability of the information, the servants rely on 2 discs in RAID, and in turn they are installed in way of high availability (Linux HAS) shaping between two servants a cluster or the only set of principal servant and secondary servant, being the information indistinctly in each of the servants answered in real time.. Additional there are realized safety copies crossed with another servants' cluster and in the servant of safety copies lodged at another Center of Information geopolíticamente differently [Política de seguridad de los datos].  Nonetheless, in case of needing to restore these copies before a major incident, one relies on a servant formed and ready to receive the safety copies.

Elements of net

Every rack possesses its own Switch of 48 ports. It is about a 2950-48 Shidny . Every servant has a connection of 100Mbps towards its Switch. No limitation of bandwidth exists to level of the Switch of the rack. This way the servants can communicate among them to 100Mbps.The exit of the Switch (the uplink) is 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps). In order that this is possible we use the technology 1000baseT. Thanks to the uplink of 1000Mbps, the servants can communicate teach other to 100Mbp without any saturation of the net links, though the servants should not be connected in the same Switch of the rack. The uplink of every Switch is connected to a distribution router to 1000Mbps. It is a question of a Shindy 6k, with chassis of double nourishment, and double card of encaminamiento. In case of breakdown of one of the cards, the second card of encaminamiento would take the relief in less than 3 seconds to level of the switching (level 2 of protocol IP).

Every router of distribution possesses 2 uplinks to 1Gbps of optical fiber (GBIC SX). Every uplink is connected to a card of encaminamiento which allows in case of breakdown of one of the cards of going out always for the second card of encaminamiento and therefore for the second uplink.
The distribution router serves to limit the bandwidth of every servant but only in exit towards the Internet. It is to say that the communication among the servants can be carried out to 100Mbps. This turns out to be indispensable to be able to construct your cluster of high availability.
The uplinks of every encaminador of distribution come to 2 encaminadores from the backbone. In case of breakdown of one of these 2 routers, the traffic would pass for it.

Depending on the peculiarities of cáda center of information, the routers of the backbone can be placed in Telehouse 1, Telehouse 2, Redbus and Global Switch connect to Internet with traffic and peering. The net is multihome (several suppliers of traffic). Our suppliers of access have in numerous agreements of peering (across the points of peering public but also peerings deprived). The peering, among which there are the neutral points of ESpanix and CATnix, which allow to increase this way the redundancy of our net and to improve the times of access optimizing this way the connection and stable latency in the whole Spain.
